Yahoo left hanging after Google pulls out of ad deal

Regulatory objections have resulted in Google pulling out of a search advertising partnership that would have allowed it to monetize some aspects of Yahoo's search advertising program. Yahoo's stock rose briefly on speculation of a possible Microsoft deal; only to have Steve Ballmer dismiss it, saying that Microsoft is "not interested." Article
