Windows XP SP3 coming next month
With all the talk about Windows Vista SP1, you might have forgotten about a forthcoming release that's even more relevant to the enterprise: Windows XP SP3. Worry not, XP fans: Microsoft has announced that SP3 will arrive next month. Apparently, the Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Spanish versions of the service pack will arrive during the last two weeks of April, while all other versions will be released three weeks later. SP3 is likely the last official release of Windows XP before the company ends retail sales of the OS in June.
