Will IE7 out-handle Firefox in memory?

A test of Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 (beta 3) found some interesting new features. There's a default option which releases most of the borrowed system memory when the browser is minimized, bookmark-like support for .RSS feeds and Firefox-like extensions. Installing the browser was said to be tedious but that could be a quirk of the beta--presumably Microsoft wouldn't release it like that.
