WiFi-capable, dual-mode BlackBerry announced

Rumormongers have been expecting this one for a while but now it's official: RIM is about to unleash a BlackBerry for WiFi fans. The BlackBerry 8820 comes with onboard GPS, 802.11a/b/g, microSD/microSDHC and quad-band GSM support. Now that's a spicy, wireless meatball! No word yet on who's going to carry the 8820, though as many have pointed out, this would make for a perfect pairing with T-Mobile's new @Home WiFi service...
