What to do when you spill a drink on your laptop
Having been around the tech block, I can say that I've spilled a full bottle of carbonated beverage onto an unfortunate laptop on at least one occasion. Despite my highly surprised state, I knew well enough to gut the power, unplug all cables and turn the poor sucker over to allow it to drain. In the morning, the laptop worked just fine aside from a sticky keyboard and served me well for another year or so until I sold it to an unsuspecting eBayer. Your laptop, however, might not be so lucky when it has its date with liquid destiny. Watch this video, which is a bit more involved; it should leave you feeling well prepared no matter what you've been drinking.
