Week of Oracle Bugs coming in December
Just yesterday, we mentioned that the Month of Kernel Bugs was winding down with a critical OS X disk image exploit. With browsers and kernels having been covered, where else is there left to hack? You guessed it: the data center. In December, Argeniss Information Security will host the "Week of Oracle Database Bugs" or "WoODB" for short. Their motivation is, apparently, to force Oracle to address security vulnerabilities in their platform. "We want to show the current state of Oracle software...also we want to demonstrate Oracle isn't getting any better at securing its products," says a statement at Argeniss's website.
