WebEx buys Intranets.com for $45M
WebEx, which makes the popular online collaboration and conferencing software, is acquiring Intranets.com, which also makes online collaboration tools, for $45 million in cash. Both company's services are known for their entry-level focus but are equally common in enterprise departments and for remote workers. After the merger, which should be complete by the end of the year, the company plans to work on new services and international growth, officials said.
