Vonage said to be updating the V-Phone
iPhone? Old hat, my friend. Check out the V-Phone: a VoIP phone on a USB stick, brought to you by possibly-going-out-of-business service provider Vonage. A little orange USB key with a built-in microphone and VoIP client, the V-Phone is about as plug-and-play as Internet telephony gets. While the V-Phone has been around for quite some time, Vonage is now said to be prepping an updated model, which will address some of the device's most commonly berated flaws: lack of Bluetooth support and incompatibility with OS X. Will the V-Phone v2.0 be enough to save Vonage? Probably not. But you might see it in Q2 regardless.
