For the truly paranoid: RFID-protected storage

How secure is your physical storage? If your answer was "not secure enough," you might want to check out the E08 2.5" hard drive enclosure from Systen. The drive uses an RFID keychain to ensure that no one, other than the holder of the keychain, can get at the data inside. If you've got the RFID key in hand, the portable drive disarms its on-board encryption and lets you at the data. And if you don't have the key? Why, the drive appears to be blank and ready for formatting. It's a pretty ingenious idea and I wouldn't be surprised to see it popping up in enterprise-class products in the near future. In the meantime, you can import this bad boy from Hong Kong for only $56.
