Treo 650 to get BlackBerry software

Companies which own the Research in Motion Blackberry server will soon be able to use Palm Treo 650 smartphones as client devices. Blackberry features will run through the Treo's pre-installed VersaMail software starting early next year, officials said. However, the deal probably won't be a huge business for RIM as Palm will use Microsoft's own push email service for the upcoming Windows-based Treo 700. Palm also sells a push-email service from RIM rival Good Technology.
