Thunderbird 1.5 gets ready to fly
The new Thunderbird 1.5 email client, unlike the 1.0 version, is feature-rich and reliable. But what you really want to know is how it compares to Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes, right? In some ways it's better, because it's cost-free and open-source, comes with built-in phishing protection and, of course, can run on Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOS, etc. What it lacks are the solid groupware features found in Microsoft Exchange/Outlook and Lotus Groupwise/Notes.
