T-Mobile Dash to get free WM6 upgrade this Friday
Hot on the heels of the leaked ROM, we've received word that T-Mobile will offer the official Windows Mobile 6 upgrade to Dash users this week, as predicted. According to Gizmodo's anonymous T-Mobile tipster, the upgrade will be made available publicly this Friday, May 4th. Keep in mind that WM6 differs from previous versions in that it has no "My E-Mail" client--Dash users who upgrade to version 6 may receive an error unless they log into their My T-Mobile account and delete all "My E-Mail" accounts. Additionally, the upgrade will delete all of the data stored on your phone, so be sure to backup all your data. T-Mobile's Windows Mobile 6 Upgrade will mark the first public offering of the new mobile OS in the U.S.
