Spotlight: Use the iTwin for secure, remote access to files
Do you need to occasionally access files stored on your office workstation, but find yourself distrustful of cloud-based storage solutions? It may be worth checking out the iTwin, an innovative gadget that looks like a pair of USB flash drives. With one end plugged into the USB port of the remote workstation and another end at your local terminal, the iTwin facilitates the sending of files between the two machines via your Internet connectivity. A 256-bit AES encryption key stored only on the physical devices is used to encrypt all data transferred between them for security. For the paranoid, a new 256-bit AES key is actually created each time both ends are physically paired and plugged into a computer. You can find out more at the iTwin website here.
