Uproar over move by Amazon to forcibly remove purchased e-books
Last week, Amazon reached into Kindles and electronically withdrew a couple of e-book titles from readers who have already purchased them. At the heart of the matter is its self-service platform for publishers, in which a publisher has erroneously submitted e-books it has no copyright over. While Amazon assured customers that this will not happen again, the confidence of many Kindle customers has been shattered. Article
