Time to start moving away from Windows XP, Gartner warns
Organizations should "start drawing up plans" to eliminate Windows XP, says Gartner. This warning is pertinent, says the research firm, as many of their clients opted to skip Windows Vista, and hence are still using Windows XP. While Windows says it will support Windows XP until April 2014, Gartner warns the new versions of many applications will no longer support the aged operating system by 2012. Article
