With the launch of new products from Intel, today marks the official beginning of the quad-core era. Those crazy folks over at CNET decided to mark the occasion by installing two quad-core 2.66GHz Xeon 5355 processors in a MacPro, essentially creating an octo-core FrankenMac monster. It's alive!
