Leading the explosion of iPod and iPhone dock-related peripheral would be the Optoma Neo-i, which is scheduled to arrive in mid-December and cost $449. You see, other than a "full-bodied" 16-watt stereo system, the Neo-i is also a pico projector that packs a 50-lumen bulb rated at 20,000 hours. The DLP projector offers 854x480 pixels projections in 16:9 format and can be run via an optional battery pack. While hardly portable, the Neo-i is certainly transportable, and comes with HDMI and VGA ports to connect to laptops or other media devices.
