Opera 11 beta launched; supports plug-ins, tab stacking
Opera Software has released the first beta of its Opera 11 browser. Opera 11 comes with tab stacking, which is touted by the company as a better way for users to manage open tabs. In addition, Opera 11 also introduces extensions and mouse gesture technology, while plug-ins can also be configured to load on-demand. Loading plug-ins on-demand is a nifty idea to improve performance, which Opera Software says can result in performance gains of as high as 30 percent. Finally, Opera 11 is also supposedly 15 to 20 percent faster than Opera 10.63. Article
