Spotlight: Microsoft SkyDrive App for iOS
The official iOS app for Microsoft's SkyDrive cloud storage system debuted this week. Compared to the smaller free storage space of competing cloud storage options, Microsoft's SkyDrive offers a whooping 25GB. Users can use the app to access all their SkyDrive content including shared files, as well as to upload photos or videos from their smartphone. Limitations exist, however; while a limited number of file types can be previewed it is not possible to edit a Word document using an external app. For more, see the product page.
