Microsoft Security Essentials arriving today
We reported last week that Microsoft's Security Essentials (MSE) could be out "in a matter of weeks." Well, it seems we were wrong: MSE will in fact be available for download by the general public today. MSE offers basic protection against malware and viruses for free. How traditional paid products, made by the likes of Symantec and McAfee, will fare against MSE remains to be seen. You can check out the MSE home page later today. Article
