Microsoft defends Windows in wake of alleged Google exodus
Microsoft has moved quickly to address a Financial Times report in which new Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) employees were reportedly asked to choose between using Linux or the Mac at work. In fact, those who wished to use Windows allegedly have to get special permission from the management to do so, prompting widespread reports of how Google is ditching Windows. In a blog entry, Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) pointed out that security concerns have been raised about products from Google and Mac too, before going on to highlight the various security features that can be found in Windows 7.
