AnandTech took DDR3 RAM from various manufacturers and ran a battery of exhaustive tests on them. Interestingly, the reviewers concluded that only in certain situations was there a point to purchasing RAM graded faster than DDR3-1066 with CAS 5 on an Intel Core i7 platform.
