Linux the first operating system to support USB 3.0

Remember our report on the first USB 3.0 controller from NEC late last month? Well, it looks like a Linux developer at Intel's Open Source Technology Center has completed the driver support for USB 3.0 for the Linux operating system. The driver is already queued to appear in Kernel 2.6.31, though Linux aficionados who cannot wait until September can just compile it themselves. Article
