This week, Kensington introduced a new ClickSafe locking system that it says is easier to use than the Kensington Slot--also invented by the company--found in virtually every laptop today. The new system allows the lock to be clipped into place without any cumbersome aligning or twisting. The company says the convenience of the ClickSafe system will bolster compliance as the auto-locking mechanism means it is more likely that workers will actually lock their laptops.
