Facebook application lets you donate your processor power

Intel has launched a new application that will allow users to contribute their spare processing power in their computer to worthwhile causes. While projects like this are hardly new, what is different is that Intel's Progress Thru Processors is built on the Facebook platform. The application was launched early this week as a public beta and can be downloaded here.
