SPOTLIGHT: Apple unloads dozens of fixes for Mac OS X
Apple released patches for 44 glitches in the 10.3.9 and 10.4.2 versions of its OS X operation system and also affecting various server software. A few are considered serious, such as a patch that prevents attackers from creating malicious .doc and .rtf files in the AppKit software and another patch against arbitrary code execution in the Safari web browser.
