Microsoft's Patch Tuesday security update next week will address five critical vulnerabilities, says Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) in its latest Patch Tuesday advance bulletin notification for December 2013. In total, there are 11 bulletins spanning a large range of product families. Specifically, products with bulletins rated as "Critical" include all supported versions of Windows, Office, Lync, Internet Explorer and Exchange Server. The remaining bulletins deal with local elevation of privilege vulnerabilities in Windows and Microsoft Developer Tools, plus an information disclosure and security feature bypass in Office. Security analysts advise patching those that require a reboot quickly, including Windows and Internet Explorer.
