Six unpatched flaws in Oracle databases
Oracle still hasn't fixed a database security flaw that it knew about nearly two years ago, a researcher in Germany says. The flaw could let an attacker erase files through a web browser. "This is very typical of the way Oracle deals with security. They take ages to fix serious bugs. We've had this problem with Oracle for many years," the former Oracle consultant said. Ellison & Co. didn't comment.
