Security guard at hospital hacks computer system

The FBI has arrested a man on charges of felony computer intrusion after coming across videos of his shenanigans--on YouTube. Jess William McGraw apparently took up a job as a security guard at the Carrell Clinic, working the 11 pm to 7 am shift. Rather than just making his rounds, however, McGraw instead sneaked around installing malicious botnet software in computers that included climate control servers and workstations containing confidential information.

He then uploaded videos of his various exploits, complete with music--such as the theme music from Mission Impossible--and a running commentary. The whole thing started to come undone after a member of his hacking group boasted to a security researcher with screen shots of machines hacked by McGraw. The information was subsequently verified and handed over to the authorities.

So, just how secure are the computers in your company? Do you have any defenses in place to stop the night security guard, or even a fellow staffer, from compromising the entire network after office hours, or during the lunch break?
