Samsung Q40 goes all SSD, Core Solo ULV on us
If Samsung's previous entry into the world of solid state drive-packing laptops, the Q30, left you wanting for a bit more oomph, this should come as welcome news: the Korean giant will start offering Q40 laptops pre-loaded with either 16GB or 32GB of NAND flash as well. For those who are unfamiliar with Samsung's portable lineup, the Q40 features the more modern Core Solo ULV power and Intel 945GM chipset, as opposed to the Q30's comparatively ancient Celeron M. While the 12.1-inch unit is certainly not without its charms, I'd hold out for a Vista-running, Core 2 Duo sporting successor if I were you.
