Rumor: Samsung F700 coming to Verizon
When it comes to hot new smartphones, Verizon is usually the last place any of us turn to to get our fix. It's encouraging, then, to see that Verizon is starting to get hip to the allure of a good smartphone. "Don't ask us when or where or how we know this, but Samsung's much-drooled-after F700 will be hitting Verizon...probably by year's end," CrunchGear writes. The phone in question is a smart device with a touchscreen, slide out QWERTY keypad and a very iPhone-like form factor. Additionally, this thing supports CDMA (natch), HSDPA and EDGE, Bluetooth, microSD, full HTML web-browsing and has a 5-micropixel camera. Seems like a pretty big win for Verizon fans--let's just hope this one gets confirmed.
