RIM gets second patent win
With today's NTP vs. RIM hearing underway, and a decision not expected until early next week, fans of RIM's BlackBerry devices still managed to get some good news: The U.S. Patent and Trade Office officially rejected the second of NTP's five relevant patents, on the heels of rejecting the first patent earlier this week. Why the sudden action by the normally slow-moving patent folks? NTP says RIM is unfairly using its political clout. Keep your ears, eyes, and thumbs tuned.
