Researchers find flaw in Symantec antivirus

A flaw in versions 10 and newer of Symantec's enterprise anti-virus software can be exploited by worm attacks to take control of remote systems, researchers at eEye Digital Security said. Symantec is still investigating that claim, so eEye's staff is not revealing details. Once confirmed, it should take a month or two for Symantec to create a patch, eEye said.
