Red Hat to use Xen in enterprise suite
Red Hat will include XenSource's open-source virtualization software in the next major version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, officials said. The announcement follows a controversy earlier this week in which a Red Hat employee said Xen isn't ready for enterprise use. Whether the employee was misquoted or misunderstood isn't entirely clear, but there is a qualifier to current announcement--the next major version they're citing is not due until late 2007 which gives XenSource plenty of time to improve its product.
