OS X Leopard is pretty, pretty buggy
So close, yet so far. Apple announced that it was delaying OS X Leopard on Friday so, of course, Think Secret has a gallery of screenshots of the latest build in order to whet our appetites for that which is just out of reach. Although the UI now sports a more unified look, Think Secret is reporting that while "[build] 9A410 contains a plethora of changes from previous builds, there are more bugs than ever, including many glaring ones involving user interfaces." That definitely lends a lot of credibility to Apple's claims that the OS needs more time in the oven, amid speculation that super-secret features are holding things up in Cupertino. The build also marks the first appearance of two new utilities, Directory and Podcast Capture and sees some new features being added to Mail 3.0. Leopard is shaping up to be a solid update, so let's hope that they get the bugs worked out sooner rather than later.
