Oracle enters biz process management zone
Oracle is giving customers a new business process management suite, but this time it's by licensing, not by acquisition. The suite will be an Oracle-branded version of IDS Scheer's product called Aris Platform. It will integrate with Oracle's existing Fusion middleware and Process Manager software, officials explained. (Why not an acquisition? Because IDS is also a big partner of Oracle rival SAP.)
