Oracle debuts new app server

Oracle's OpenWorld conference is happening this week, and the big news is Application Server 10g Release 3, due to ship next spring. Under the Fusion middleware brand, the app server will be certified with Microsoft's Active Directory, with non-Oracle databases, and with Java middleware from BEA, Jboss, and IBM. There will be partnerships with open-source development tool makers as well. Of course, listen for plenty of Siebel news at OpenWorld too.
