Oracle buys supply chain management vendor
Oracle's latest acquisition is Demantra, which makes supply-chain management and other analytical software, for an undisclosed amount. Oracle also didn't reveal much about its long-term plans for Waltham, MA-based Demantra, which has 140 customers including some name brands like Johnson & Johnson, Unilever and Wendy's. (The deal is Oracle's 20th in 18 months, but who's counting?)
