Nokia unleashes an avalanche of new business phones

It's 3GSM time and you know what that means: time for a veritable avalanche of new handsets. Like rivals Sony Ericsson did last week, Nokia is announcing an array of new phones, ranging from the business-oriented E65 to the media-crazy N77. First up though, is the 6110 navigator: though not blessed with a letter designation, it does boast built-in GPS in addition to 3.6Mbps HSDPA, perfect, perhaps, for traveling sales folks. The business-savvy E65 looks like a regular old slider but packs some cool features like controls on its exterior for the most used features, a programmable "My Own" key for your most-used app and quad-band GSM/UMTS/WiFi support for the business traveler. Then there's the E61i, which crams a QWERTY keyboard and 2-megapixel camera into a thin form factor, in addition to the aforementioned quad-band support.

Of course, I've saved the best for last: the E90, which boasts all of the features of Nokia's other new phones (yes, including built-in GPS) in addition to a ridiculous, two-screen, folding design. This thing really has to be seen to be believed--the inner screen is allegedly large enough to display the full width of a web page. Of course, it's gonna cost you--roughly 1,000 clams, or so we've been hearing. Hungry for more 3GSM coverage? Head on over to FierceWireless, where our own handset sleuth Brian Dolan will be posting his impressions of new handsets and operating systems all day.
