Microsoft has confirmed that it will be offering new versions of its ubiquitous Office productivity suite--Word, Excel and PowerPoint--that can run from within a standard web browser. The browser-based editing capabilities are developed together with the next version of Office, with a beta version to be released in 2009. Article
