New worm lures in PC users
January 23, 2006 — 7:01pm ET
Security firm F-Secure says the W32/Nyxem-E worm is set to attack and multiply on February 3. It moves by email with subject lines suggesting adult themes, and there aren't any specific patches. As of yesterday, the worm's built-in counter recorded more than 500,000 infected systems. The moral: If you engage it, use protection. :)
