New Cisco flaw could pose threat to Net
Consider dropping what you're doing, shutting down your company's network, and installing these Cisco router patches -- NOW, please. Yes, it's that important. The latest flaw in Cisco's operating system can let an attacker install code on your routers and then reboot them. Affected (but hopefully not infected) are Cisco IOS versions 12.2ZH and 12.2ZL, 12.3, 12.3T, 12.4 and 12.4T, officials said. Security experts at Cisco and Symantec say they don't know of any exploits, but they certainly expect an attack soon.
