Cisco Systems has just announced the latest iteration of its Unified CRM Connector 3.0, which includes support for 20 different languages, including U.K. and U.S. English, French, Chinese and Japanese. The Unified CRM Connector is a solution aimed at SMBs, allowing businesses better access to customer information gleaned from inbound and outgoing calls. By marrying their VoIP technology to Microsoft's Dynamic 3.0 software, the network giant was able to provide users with an IP phone link into Microsoft's Outlook. When a call is received over the VoIP network, the employee will see a pop-up window containing the caller's purchase history, billing information and call activity. When the call is completed, new information will be automatically added to the database. Sugoi, ne?
