Mozilla Prism moves to beta
Tools
Mozilla Prism has been moved out from Mozilla Labs into beta, which should allow more feedback from regular users. Mozilla Prism allows web applications to run within their own application window. While Firefox still runs under the hood, with Prism desktop or application icons can be easily created to open the sites directly--much like a native client. If you are interested, Prism can be installed as a Firefox extension or a standalone application from here.
