Mozilla debuts Thunderbird 2.0 alpha version
Mozilla said the Thunderbird 2.0 Alpha 1 software is now available for downloading. This version is meant purely for developers, but anyone can get it. New features include message tagging, notification alerts, updated extensions and a message-grouping option inspired by Google's Gmail interface. A beta version is due next month, with the final release due late in the year.
