More info on Mac OS 10.5.1
Yesterday, we told you that Apple had seeded a build of OS 10.5.1--the company's first addendum to OS X Leopard--to testers. Thirsting for more info? Well, here come the full details, courtesy of those loose-lipped testers. From the looks of it, version 10.5.1 includes fixes for:
- Mail Sync
- Spotlight Index
- Disk Management
- DesktopServices and moving files across partitions
- Text Drawing
- iCal and CalDAV syncing
- Keychain login
- Read-Only Issue with SMB
- AirPort 802.1X
- Application Firewall
- To-Do Notes
- Smart Mailboxes
That's a pretty long list, considering that we only recognize two of the issues listed. Regardless, it's good to see Apple offering fixes sooner rather than later, so let's hope they get this one out the door within the next week.
