Remember the mysterious hacker "LMH" and the Month of Kernel Bugs back in November? Well, LMH must be a Mac fan, because the Washington Post is reporting that January will mark the "Month of Apple Bugs." LMH, in cooperation with researcher Kevin Finisterre will announce one previously undiscovered vulnerability in OS X per day, for the entire month. Much to Apple's chagrin, he won't be providing Cupertino with any advance warning before announcing the bugs. A shameless attempt to take the wind out of Apple's security sails or a sincere effort to increase security on the Mac? LMH seems to suggest the former: "Right now, many OS X users still think their system is bulletproof, and some people are interested on making it look that way."
