Microsoft, XenSource cooperate for Longhorn

Microsoft and Linux advocate XenSource are partnering for interoperability in the software virtualization market. Both companies face EMC's VMware subsidiary as a rival. The deal lets customers run Xen Linux systems inside future Longhorn versions of Windows Server, with Microsoft offering technical support for the non-Windows product. Unfortunately, none of this will be real until 2008.
