Microsoft venture adds to Blackberry woes

So who needs RIM BlackBerrys anyway? A new upgrade for Microsoft's Exchange Server 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0 gives users push-style email without needing a third-party server. RIM and its competitors will have years to fight over Palm users, older devices and the anti-Microsoft crowd. And who knows? Maybe the DOJ or EU or some patent holder will cry foul. But some say this announcement means it's game-over for the specialized push email industry.
