Seeing how, as of today, Windows Vista is officially available to the public, it's about time for some patches, eh? Microsoft hasn't wasted any time getting started on what's sure to be yet another product cycle full of patches. None of the six fixes address security vulnerabilities; the most serious of the patches fixes a flaw that causes a system to crash when connected to an external firewire drive and awoken from hibernation. Along with the fixes, the company is delivering two so-called "Ultimate Extras," one of which is the "Hold 'Em Poker." A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, eh?
